Calming Spot LLC ("Calming Spot," "we," "us") operates the Calming Spot sound bath and wellness studio at 1540 6th Street, Suite 120, Santa Monica, CA 90401 and the website www.calmingspot.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us when you book a class, buy a pass, join our list or contact us: name, email address, phone number.
• Booking and purchase information, such as classes attended, memberships and packs. Payments are processed by our booking and payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
• Communication preferences, including whether you have agreed to receive marketing emails or text messages.
• Website usage information collected through cookies and similar technologies, such as pages visited and the device and browser used.

How we use your information

• To manage your bookings, memberships and purchases, and to send booking confirmations and reminders.
• To send you news, class announcements and offers by email or text message when you have agreed to receive them.
• To answer your questions and provide customer support.
• To understand and improve our website, classes and advertising.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Text messages (SMS)

If you agree to receive text messages from Calming Spot, we use your mobile number to send class announcements, offers and studio updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. Advertising, analytics and cookies

We advertise on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To measure and improve our ads and website, we use tools that place cookies, pixels or similar technologies in your browser, including:

• Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager, which help us understand how visitors use our site, measure ad results and show our ads to people who have visited our site (remarketing).
• Meta Pixel, which helps us measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show them to people who have visited our site.

These tools may collect information such as pages viewed, actions taken (for example, starting a booking), your device and browser type, and an online identifier. Google and Meta may combine this with other information they hold and use it under their own privacy policies.

Your ad choices:

• Manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings under Ads, or at facebook.com/adpreferences.
• Opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with service providers who help us run the studio. Under California law, allowing advertising partners such as Google and Meta to collect information through cookies and pixels for targeted ads may be considered "sharing"; you can opt out as described above or by emailing us. We share information with:

• Booking, scheduling and payment providers.
• Email and text message delivery providers.
• Website hosting and analytics providers.
• Advertising platforms, such as Google and Meta, for measuring and improving our ads.
• Professional advisers, and authorities where required by law.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Your choices

• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Text messages: reply STOP to any text.
• Access, correction or deletion: email hello@calmingspot.com. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including to know, correct and delete personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for using them.
• Targeted advertising: see "Your ad choices" above, or email hello@calmingspot.com to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
