First Visit Guide
Your first sound bath, start to finish.
No experience needed, nothing to perform and nothing to get right. Here's exactly what happens, so the only thing left to do is show up.
Before you come
- Book online through the schedule. A single class is $55.
- Wear something comfortable. You'll be lying down for most of the session, so soft, easy layers are perfect.
- Bring nothing. Mats, blankets and pillows are all provided.
Arriving
The candlelight studio is at 1540 6th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401, on 6th and Broadway, behind an unmarked door. There's 2-hour free street parking along 6th Street and metered parking at 6th & Colorado.
Come a few minutes early to check in, slip off your shoes and settle onto your mat. Out of respect for the room, arrivals more than 5 minutes late can't be admitted.
During the session
Each sound bath is about 50 minutes and moves through four parts:
- Arrive. Settle into a space that's already prepared for you.
- Breathe. Gentle, guided breathing slows the pace and settles the body.
- Listen. Crystal singing bowls, gong, ocean drum, chimes and voice fill the room in layers.
- Return. The sound fades and you come back quieter, clearer and more connected.
You rest and let the sound do the work. Many people drift into a deep, restorative calm.

If you love it, class packs and the Unlimited membership bring the price per class down. The monthly Full and New Moon sessions and the seasonal sunset beach sound baths are good second visits.
